We Love Our Twin Fawns and Their Mama!

This summer's twin fawns are not identical at all. One has already lost its spots, and the other one is smaller and still has spots. And even though they are both large enough to have been weaned long ago, they still nurse their mama.

On June 4, 2009 We Celebrated Daddy's 96th Birthday!

On May 27, 2009, our Bosch dishwasher had a catastrophic pump failure and flooded our kitchen, dining room and basement all night long.

A Sad Sign of the Times


I stopped by my favorite watch shop to get some new batteries, but was shocked to see this sign on the window. It reads, "Thanks to all our great customers for all your support, but unfortunately the economy forced our closure. Good luck with Socialism! - the Watch Stop."
